Directions
How to reach us: By Car From the A60, take Exit 28 (Rüsselsheim Mitte, Trebur), and follow the signs for Rüsselsheim Stadtmitte. Turn right just before the traffic light onto the Kurt-Schumacher-Ring, and immediately after the ramp, exit the Kurt-Schumacher-Ring to the right and drive for 200m, following the curve. The hotel will be on your left. By Train The Rüsselsheim train station is located about 1.5 km from the hotel. From Frankfurt central station or airport, take S-Bahn S8 or S9 in the direction of Wiesbaden. From Mainz or Wiesbaden, take the S8 or S9 in the direction of Hanau or Offenbach. These trains also stop at the regional airport train station, on the lower floor of terminals 1 & 2. From the train station, you can come directly by taxi, or take Bus #11 to the "Kupferstraße" stop, then walk back about 300m to the hotel.

In our restaurant a delicious and rich breakfast buffet awaits you. Enjoy a wide selection of bread and baked goods, savoury and sweet toppings, muesli, egg dishes, yoghurt and quark, as well as fresh fruit. We are prepared for gluten-free and lactose-free food.
We are also happy to offer our guests a packed lunch from 04:00 in the morning. Simply speak to us about this when you arrive.

Sights like the fortress, the award-winning city and industry museum or the late romantic Verna Park invite you to discover Rüsselsheim. The city on the Main is also the cradle of Riesling: the Riesling grape variety was first mentioned in a document here. A vineyard, which the winegrowers‘ friends cultivate, reminds us of this today. Art and culture lovers will get their money’s worth at the Opelvillen art centre, the theatre or the jazz factory. The city of Rüsselsheim offers guided tours especially for groups.
Kühkopf Treasure Island
In a former river loop of the Rhine lies a protected natural paradise with swamps and flooded areas, in which many bird species find ideal resting and nesting places. The area consists of an island and a lowland, which can be explored on hiking and cycling trails. A visit to an information centre with a museum also offers a varied excursion.
The aim is to provide visitors with insights into nature conservation, according to the motto „Experience – Education – Responsibility.“
„I hope that the new information and education centre „Treasure Island Kühkopf“; will make us curious about our environment and provide impulses for a responsible use of natural heritage“, says Hessen’s Minister for the Environment, Priska Hinz. The focus is on working techniques and working conditions, economic, ecological, social and political developments, housing conditions from prehistoric and early historical times up to the 20th century. Century as well as works of art of different epochs.
The Adam Opel AG provided large objects such as an assembly line, piston lathe and an Opel Blitz, and the Kuka AG provided an industrial robot. Furthermore, an almost as good as new Opel Olympia Rekord (built in 1958, price: 6385. – DM, top speed: 125 km/h) and objects for living and leisure are on display.
Museum Groß Gerau
The permanent exhibition informs in two main sections about the Roman period and the history of the city from 1850 to 1990. On display are three stone monuments found during the excavation of the Mithraeum – the votive stone with Mercury, the lions and an altar stone. The second part of the exhibition spans the history of the city from the beginning of industrialisation until 1990. Several decades are dedicated to separate areas. Special exhibitions, musical performances and readings are regularly held in the town museum, which have an audience far beyond Groß-Gerau.
Museum Riedstadt-Erfelden
One focus of the museum’s work and the exhibits is on the 7. December 1631 the Rhine crossing of the Swedish King Gustav II Adolf (*9. 12. 1594 – † 6. 11. 1632) during the Thirty Years‘; War (1618 – 1648).
The Swedish army fought in the confessional conflict with the German Protestants and France against the Catholic Emperor and his Spanish allies. On his way to Mainz, one of the Catholic strongholds of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation, the Swedish king and his army passed through Erfelden, where he crossed the Rhine.
