A delicious and rich breakfast buffet awaits you in our restaurant with a large selection of bread and pastries, hearty and sweet toppings, cereals, egg dishes, yoghurt and quark, as well as fresh fruit. We are prepared for gluten-free and lactose-free food.

Let the evening come to an end with pleasure in our restaurant „Seepark“. Selected wines and dishes await you. On our menu you will find changing dishes from the region, depending on the season, as well as gourmet dishes in the style of the house.

Our restaurant offers 180 comfortable seats with an idyllic view of the pond. On our „Seepark“ terrace you can enjoy our specialities in a pleasantly quiet atmosphere with an idyllic view.

In the cold season you can enjoy our light-flooded winter garden atmosphere and end the day in the hotel bar integrated in the restaurant.

The Michel Hotel Magdeburg has an approx. 500 m² large, fully drivable congress centre with space for up to 500 people. In total our conference area comprises approx. 827 m². On the ground floor of the house there are 8 conference rooms of different sizes as well as a round conference room with a panoramic window on the top floor.

Magdeburger Cathedral

The Magdeburg Cathedral, built between 1209 and 1520, is one of the few Gothic cathedrals in Germany that were completely completed during the Middle Ages. Worth seeing are the ancient columns and the tomb of Emperor Otto I.
From the Michel Hotel Magdeburg to the stop „Domplatz“ the tram ride takes about twelve minutes.

Monastery „Unser Lieben Frauen“

The Monastery of Our Lady of the 11th century it was one of the most important Romanesque buildings in Germany and houses the municipal art museum. In addition to the pillar basilica with crypt and cloister, modern works of art can also be admired here. The journey from the Michel Hotel Magdeburg takes about ten minutes by car.

Green Citadel Magdeburg

The „Green Citadel Magdeburg“ of Friedensreich Hundertwasser was completed in 2005. Here you will find apartments, shops, restaurants and a theatre. The grassy roof and the trees on, in and around the building have shaped the name. The tram ride from the Michel Hotel Magdeburg takes about 13 minutes.

Magdeburg waterway intersection

As the largest steel structure in Europe, the Magdeburg Waterway Cross is a superlative inland waterway structure. It includes the trough bridge of the Mittelland Canal over the Elbe, several locks and the Rothensee ship lift. It takes about 20 minutes by car from the Michel Hotel Magdeburg to get here.

Millennium Tower

The Millennium Tower in the Elbauenpark was built in 1999 for the Federal Horticultural Show and is the tallest glued wood building in the world. The Leaning Tower houses an exhibition on the development of science from early advanced civilizations to modern research. From the Michel Hotel Magdeburg it takes about a quarter of an hour to get here by car.
