WiFi is free of charge for conference guests during their entire stay. Our reception desk is manned 24 hours a day and our multilingual team is always at your disposal. For our guests there are 115 parking spaces in our public underground car park, which are also available free of charge for conference guests. By taxi or on foot, you can quickly reach the main station 1 km away. The airport Frankfurt am Main is 54 km away. By car, you can reach us easily via the A5 (exit 31).

Directions
Located next to the Old Town, Michel Hotel Heppenheim is easily accessible both by car and by public transport. The railway station is 1 km away, the A5 motorway is 2.6 km away and the Frankfurt / Main airport is 54 km away from the hotel. By car via the A5 motorway: Coming from the A5, exit at junction 31 Heppenheim, and follow the B460/Lorscherstraße Heppenheim direction. Pass the roundabout. Turn 1 kilometer farther and at the end of the road make a left turn. After 50 meters, follow the B460/Lehrstrasse to the right. After another 250 meters The hotel and the entrance to the underground garage are located 250 meters farther, on the right side.

The “Bergstraße”
„This is where Germany begins to become Italy,“ Emperor Joseph II is said to have said. proclaimed in the spring of 1764 during a visit to the Bergstrasse. The climate of the Bergstrasse, which is protected by the Odenwald from the cold east winds, is extremely mild and ensures temperatures above the national average. Visible signs are the many plants like z. B. Almonds, peaches and apricots, which are normally native to southern Europe, and of course the wine, which ripens to the well-known quality through around 1,600 hours of sunshine. While elsewhere snow and cold and wet weather still prevail, spring sometimes turns the mountain road into a colourful bouquet of flowers as early as mid-March.
But it is not only the spring blossom that invites you to linger: numerous sights such as historic market places, half-timbered houses, castles and palaces as well as a rich cultural offer make the Bergstrasse worth experiencing. Theatre, international variety and cabaret stages offer a wide variety of performances.
